Chiefs TE Travis Kelce reflects on his Taylor Swift ‘Eras Tour’ cameo in London

The exciting world of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce knows no bounds. He recently took London by storm, culminating in a performance on stage supporting his girlfriend, superstar musician Taylor Swift.

The latest episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce (Presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment) discussed Travis’ experiences on stage during Taylor Swift’s Eras tour.

“I told Tay (Taylor Swift) about it initially. I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just rode one of the bikes during the ‘1989’ era?’” Kelce said. “She laughed and said, ‘Would you really want to do something like that?’ And I said, ‘Are you… what? I would love to do that. Are you kidding me?’ I’ve seen enough of the show. I might as well get to work here.”

Kelce wore a suit and participated flawlessly in the activities on stage during the show.

“It’s such a fun, playful part of the show. And it was the perfect area or moment for me to go in there and just be a ham and have some fun,” Travis said. “I was playing with Tay (Taylor Swift) and getting her makeup right.”

He played his role perfectly, although he had to be a little careful with Swift during the performance.

“All I said to myself was, ‘Don’t drop the baby. Don’t drop this. Don’t drop Taylor on the way to (this damn) couch.’ The golden rule was, don’t drop Taylor. Get her safely to the couch.”

This week’s episode was the season two finale, which sees the brothers take a short break as Travis returns to the Chiefs’ training camp.
